WNY Women's Art Group is a group of women who are dedicated to the inspiration, celebration and creation of women in the arts. Working in various mediums: oils, pastels, watercolors, collage, fabric arts and furniture painting, these women formed WNY Women's Art Group to promote the work of women artists in the greater Western New York area, making that work available to all interested patrons by pricing work fairly and appropriately. Their work reflects the education and training of the artists and their respect for the creative medium in which they work. WNYWAG also seeks to help others enjoy the positive personal benefits of becoming an art collector. The artistic talents of the group focus on a wide range of topics. Landscapes, portraits (both human and animal), still life, or simply imagination, these women use their vision and their muses to inspire them. The work of these artists reflects a thoughtful and thought-provoking view of life.
